Biostimulators
Sculptra is a non-surgical injectable treatment designed to restore lost volume and smooth out deep wrinkles for a more youthful, refreshed appearance. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Sculptra works by stimulating your skin's own collagen production, gradually improving skin texture and volume over time.
The treatment is ideal for sunken cheeks, temple hollows, nasolabial folds, and areas of the face that have lost firmness due to aging or weight loss. Results are subtle and natural-looking, with noticeable improvement starting around 6 weeksand continuing for several months. Most clients enjoy their results for up to 2 years, making Sculptra a long-lasting option for restoring youthful volume.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I prepare for my appointment?
If this is your first time having Sculptra it is always recommended to book a consultation to dicuss your goals.
To ensure the best possible results and a smooth treatment experience, a little preparation before your Sculptra appointment goes a long way. We recommend avoiding blood-thinning medications and supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E for at least 5–7 days prior to your treatment (unless prescribed by your doctor), as these can increase the risk of bruising. It’s also best to avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
Who is a good candidate?
Sculptra is ideal for individuals looking to restore volume, smooth deep facial lines, and improve skin firmness—all without looking overfilled or “done.” It’s especially well-suited for those experiencing age-related volume loss in areas like the cheeks, temples, jawline, or smile lines. Sculptra is perfect for clients who prefer a gradual, natural-looking transformation and long-lasting results.
What is the aftercare?
Right after your appointment, you may notice some mild swelling, redness, or bruising, which is completely normal and should resolve within a few days.
Massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. This is a crucial step in the healing process and helps prevent small lumps from forming under the skin.
For the first 24 hours:
-
Apply a cold compress (not directly on the skin) to reduce swelling.
-
Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive sun or heat exposure (like saunas or hot tubs).
-
Stay well hydrated and keep your skin clean.
You can return to most normal activities right away, but results develop gradually—expect to see improvement over the next 6–12 weeks as your skin builds collagen.
How many vials will I need?
The number of Sculptra vials recommended depends on your age, facial volume loss, and treatment goals. A common guideline is 1 vial per decade of age—for example, someone in their 40s may need around 4 vials, usually spaced over 2 to 3 treatment sessions. However, this can vary based on individual needs, areas being treated, and how your body responds to collagen stimulation.
Your provider will assess your facial structure and goals during your consultation and create a customized treatment plan. Because Sculptra works gradually, we typically recommend a series of treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart, with final results appearing over several months.
